Introducing Michael Kreuziger : the latest 2025 Cambridge Astronomy PhD Scholarship recipient

We’re proud to announce that Michael Kreuziger has been awarded the 2025 Boustany Astronomy PhD Scholarship at the University of Cambridge. Michael, originally from Germany, completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physics at Heidelberg University before pursuing advanced studies at Cambridge, where he earned his MASt in Physics and MPhil in Planetary Science and Life in the Universe.

Michael’s pioneering research focuses on exoplanets—planets beyond our solar system—and the fascinating search for extraterrestrial life. At the Institute of Astronomy, he will investigate how cosmic dust, asteroids, and comets may transform planets into habitable worlds similar to our own.

With a deep passion for interdisciplinary exploration, Michael’s curiosity, dedication, and groundbreaking work make him a truly inspiring recipient of this year’s scholarship.

Introducing Sara Moukaddem the new 2025 Boustany MBA Scholarship to Harvard University

We’re proud to announce that Sara Moukaddem has been awarded the 2025 Boustany MBA Scholarship to Harvard University. A Lead Associate at Strategy&, Sara has led transformative projects across fashion, media, and culture in the GCC, while also mentoring junior colleagues and driving internal initiatives.

Originally from Lebanon and a top graduate of the American University of Beirut, Sara combines sharp strategic thinking with a deep passion for creativity and community. She’s also the co-founder of MILÉA, a Lebanese fashion brand. Sara’s warmth, leadership, and vision for the region’s future make her an inspiring choice for this year’s scholarship.

A Journey into History: Children from Nea Kavala Camp Visit the Royal Tombs of Aigai Thanks to Boustany Foundation Support

On February 1st, 2025, Open Cultural Center (OCC) Greece, with the valued support of the Boustany Foundation, organized an unforgettable educational visit for 28 children from the Nea Kavala refugee camp. The group, made up of boys and girls aged 9 to 16 and representing nationalities including Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and Kuwait, explored the ancient Royal Tombs of Aigai in Vergina—a unique opportunity to connect with Greek history and culture.

The Boustany Foundation has awarded the 2023 Cambridge University MBA Scholarship to Ge Yu

Ge Yu, the first Chinese woman to win the Boustany Foundation MBA Scholarship to Cambridge, is an accomplished entrepreneur with a passion for sustainable fashion and a dedication to promoting social impact. She graduated from Parsons School of Design and gained experience working for top brands like Louis Vuitton and Gucci across three different continents before launching ANNDERSTAND - a sustainable fashion brand that promotes the fusion of Chinese and Western styles to make a positive impact on the industry. Her designs during London Fashion Week have been featured in major media outlets, including Vogue, BBC, and China Daily. Ge has also been selected as one of the first 35 sustainable fashion designer members to join the Green Design Force launched by WWD. With her entrepreneurial mindset, dedication to sustainability, and diverse background, Ge Yu is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the business world.

The Boustany Foundation has awarded the 2023 Harvard University MBA Scholarship to Adhitya Raghavan

The Boustany Foundation Harvard MBA Scholarship has been awarded to Adhitya Raghavan. Adhitya shows great potential, and we are happy to welcome him as one of our Scholarship recipients. From Srivilliputthur (a small village in South India), he did his undergraduate studies at Princeton University in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering. He is passionate about creating large-scale positive social impact using technology and interned at a medical robotics startup in Germany during college. Post-college he started his career at Bain & Company and has worked there for the past 3 years learning more about business to complement his technical skills. His objective at HBS, is to create a venture that uses technology to help people, especially in the fields of education, sustainability and access to finance.

2021 Sport 4 Children Award winner announcement!

After a long and difficult process of evaluation, with over 80 applications from 14 different countries, the selection committee has determined the winner of the first edition of the Sport 4 Children Award. Congratulations to Terres en Mêlées for their “Alafia Rugby pour la Paix” project.

The Alafia - Rugby pour la Paix project will be implemented in the African countries of Burkina Faso and Togo. The project will have as direct beneficiaries 1.500 boys and girls between 6 and 15 years old. In a region characterized by ethnic, religious, cultural and political diversity, Terres en Mêlées aims to transmit to children through sport, a foundation of common values and to spread a culture of non-violence. This will ultimately contribute to enable children to live happy, healthy, productive, meaningful, and rewarding lives.
